IndiGo CEO says growth strategy remains unchanged amid reports of disagreement between promoters
New Delhi: The expansion technique of IndiGo stays unchanged and the airline’s administration has the complete backing of the corporate’s board of administrators to implement it, mentioned Ronojoy Dutta, CEO, InterGlobe Aviation, in an electronic mail to his staff on Thursday.
The e-mail was despatched to staff by the CEO as there have been numerous media studies on Thursday morning concerning alleged disagreements between the airline’s two promoters – Rahul Bhatia and Rakesh Gangwal.
InterGlobe Aviation owns and manages IndiGo airline, which has round 44 p.c share within the home passenger market.
“I want to assure you that the growth strategy of the airline remains unchanged and firmly in place, and the management is fully charged by the Board to implement it,” Dutta mentioned within the electronic mail.
“I am sure you are all aware of the press reports regarding alleged disagreements between our two promoters Mr Rahul Bhatia and Mr Rakesh Gangwal,” he added.
