Conspiracy and Freedom

I usually discover myself advocating positions characterised as conspiracy theories and all the time am irritated in these circumstances at what I really feel is unthinking lazy vituperative, usually from energetic people able to very excessive stage pondering. I say that the emperor (as I see it) has no garments. The response: that’s conspiracy idea. The response I’d choose: the emperor will not be bare (as I see it). Essentially the most disturbing facet to this state of affairs is that it seems to be the results of rigorously crafted disinformation propaganda.

“Because those who hold conspiracy theories typically suffer from a crippled epistemology, in accordance with which it is rational to hold such theories, the best response consists in cognitive infiltration of extremist groups.” Sunstein, Cass R. and Vermeule, Adrian, Conspiracy Theories (January 15, 2008). Harvard Public Regulation Working Paper No. 08-03; U of Chicago, Public Regulation Working Paper No. 199; U of Chicago Regulation & Economics, Olin Working Paper No. 387. Accessible at SSRN:

“So, the same man (Sunstein) who accuses the alternative media of conspiracy mongering and the destruction of the western world is actively seeking to foment a conspiracy to undermine that movement.”

“CIA memo 1035-960, circulated within the CIA in 1967 and exposed through a freedom of information act request by the New York Times in 1976, outlines strategies the agency would use to shut down critics of the Warren Commission Report. Specifically, they suggested the accusation of “conspiracy” with unfavourable connotations hooked up, predominantly in mainstream books and articles. This was certainly performed by the CIA’s many puppets within the media, and the idea of “conspiracy theory” as a pejorative was born.” ibid

The place the report of the Warren Fee investigating the assassination of President Kennedy is anxious, “… addressees are requested to employ propaganda assets to answer and refute the attacks of the critics.” CIA memo 1035-960 (Motion, 3b, pp 2-3)

The emperor has authority as a result of we consider that the emperor has authority. The second we query that authority is the mkment after we will see the emperor’s nakedness. It’s also the second we’ll start to reclaim our freedom.
