New Delhi, June 24: The BJP on Monday named Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar as its candidate for a Rajya Sabha seat from Gujarat, hours after he joined the saffron get together within the presence of its working president J P Nadda.

Jaishankar, a profession diplomat and former overseas secretary, was inducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his authorities and given the excessive profile ministry in a shock improvement.
